If you’re farming crops in Soulbound and struggling to find available farming plots, it’s important to understand how the farming system is designed. There are two types of farming plots in the game: public plots and private plots. Here’s how they work:

Public Farming Plots

Public farming plots are shared spaces accessible to all players. These plots operate on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning that whoever gets there first can plant their crops. However, there are a few important things to keep in mind:

Crop Harvesting Timeliness: Once your crop is fully grown and ready to be harvested, you have 24 hours to collect it. If you don’t harvest within this timeframe, the crop will automatically be removed from the plot. This system ensures that public farming spaces are regularly freed up for other players to use.

Checking on Your Crops: To avoid losing your crops, make sure you check back regularly and harvest them as soon as they’re ready.

After a crop is fully grown, there are 24 hours before they removed from the farming patch automatically to make way for other farmers.

You will lose your crops forever if this happens.

Private Farming Plots

Private farming plots are exclusive to individual players and can be obtained through quests. Currently, the only private farming plots available in the game are located in Arthur’s farming area. Here’s what you need to know about these plots:

Accessing Private Plots: You can gain access to these private plots by completing specific quests. Once unlocked, these plots are yours to use and reuse, giving you a personal space for farming.

Temporary Nature of Private Plots: After completing the quest, there’s a possibility that the private plots may disappear. However, don’t worry—these plots will be patched back into the game shortly, so you’ll be able to continue using them.

Tips for Effective Farming

Use Public Plots Wisely: Since public plots are limited and shared, try to harvest your crops as soon as they’re fully grown to free up space for others—and to avoid losing your harvest.

Explore Quests for Private Plots: If you’re looking for a more permanent farming solution, focus on quests that reward you with private farming plots, like those in Arthur’s farming area.

By understanding the differences between public and private farming plots, you can better manage your farming activities and ensure you always have space to grow your crops. Keep an eye out for updates as we continue to improve the farming system and reintroduce private plots to the game!
